Cardiologist Visit

I met with Little Troy's new cardiologist this week. She went over the birth plan me. She will not be there for his birth but assured me that there would be a very capable team awaiting him. An emergency NICU team will be there in the OR and a cardiology team will be waiting for him in the NICU when he arrives. While we are so grateful that they are ready for Little Troy, we are concerned. The cardiologist also let us know that if his heart is not in rhythm then they may have to cardiovert him. This means that they will have to shock his heart. Hearing this news caused me some alarm but I am trying to remain optimistic that he is being watched over. Heavenly Father has been so mindful of our family. We are grateful for the miracles and blessings that we have received.
