Discharged

The doctors decided to discharge me this afternoon. Little Troy's heart is still in atrial flutter and has a heart block. I will continue to take the heart medication but the dosage cannot be increased right now because of the effect that it is having on my blood pressure. The doctor assured us that they are not giving up, just trying to look at other options. I go back to Lutheran General on Monday to have my heart monitored, to have an echo again on Little Troy's heart and for a follow-up. They want to continue to make sure that Little Troy's heart can handle what is happening and not go into heart failure. Then, on Tuesday, we will head back to Madison, WI to repeat the test on Little Troy's heart. They may switch the medication then to one that we have heard has some hard side effects on the mother so continued prayers would be so appreciated.
