Troy

May 3rd marked the sixth anniversary of Troy's double organ transplant. We feel so extremely blessed. It was a very scary time but we had so many friends and loved ones to support us-and who continue to do so. I remember the time leading up to the transplant as if it were yesterday. Bridgette was an infant and we were so scared. But our faith in Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ kept us going and gave us immense strength. I truly believe in organ donation. If it were not for a very selfless family, he would not be here. I cannot imagine the agony that they were going through, having just lost their loved one. Yet, they willingly donated his organs to not only Troy but many others. My heart is full of gratitude. Miracles do happen-we have witnessed too many to count in our lives. Troy, you are amazing. I love you so much. I am grateful for every moment that we have together. You have never given up or even thought about it. You are the most loving and kind husband and father. You are such an example to the girls and I.
